I am excited for this one, these are two squads I absolutely love to watch play hockey and with this one in Dallas, I am expecting a terrific hockey game. Patrick Roy and the New York Islanders (23-20-14) are heading down to the Lone Star State for a clash with the Dallas Stars (35-16-8) at the American Airlines Center and I think we have a highly competitive affair on our hands.

Ilya Sorokin and Scott Wedgewood are two of the leagues best net minders, no denying that. I would love to have either man between the pipes if I was a head coach; with that said, I just cannot ignore the recipe for goals here. There is plethora of talent on both sides of the ice and I expect them to play with a lot of pace.
The Dallas home over trend shall not be denied! 22-6 for a 78% clip on the season, you are a mad man to look the other way. Even The isles are 17-10 for the over on the road this season which is well above a 60% clip and 60%, that works every time (shoutout to all my anchorman fans who understood that reference without me explaining it) so I will ride with it again here.
Dallas won for their first time in five games in a sweaty 2-1 win over Carolina on Saturday; the under has hit in three straight so they are due for a hit scoring affair and with just four total goals in their last three games, they need it. On the flip side, New York went from back-to-back five goal games (still lost one of them) to scoring two total in their last two. The boys need to get fired upon a hurry, cannot keep losing games like this.
