St. Louis Blues vs. Winnipeg Jets Prediction

I have to be honest with you all, I could see this game go under with a final score of 3-1 or something like that easily, but this one just feels misplaced. Even the totals we love get shafted sometimes because we have to play 6.5's and what not, so at o5.5 with very little juice, I'll bite. The over 5.5 has hit in four of the last five Blues games, as well as four of the last five Jets games. Head-to-head, the total has also hit in four of the last five.

Winnipeg has done the majority of the heavy lifting, winning each of the games that went over. While I do love my Blues, Winnipeg has our number in a special way. Since the 20's (wow that makes me think of the roaring twenties or something like we are old), Winnipeg has dominated St. Louis. Don't get me wrong, that is a very legitimate squad this year that can cause problems and make some real noise in the playoffs, but they haven't always been; even when they had less talent, they owned the Blues. I love the value in what feels like a must-win spot for the Notes after dropping four of their last five, but I do not see that as the best wager here. St. Louis needs a win in a bad way, and is about to get swept by the Jets this year; they just got smoked Saturday morning by Detroit and should bring it on offense tonight.
