Detroit Red Wings vs. Arizona Coyotes Prediction: Can Alex DeBrincat, Red Wings Bounce Back?

We have a smaller Friday slate here than we had last week and a lot of late start times but still some solid games to choose from. To kick things off, we are heading on down to Tempe, Arizona, as the Detroit Red Wings (33-23-6) visit the Arizona Coyotes (25-33-5) for clash at Mullet Arena.

Detroit Red Wings vs. Arizona Coyotes Prediction

Detroit has had a day to recoup and rest as they embark upon this road trip after the beating they took in Colorado the other night -they scored two in the first then conceded five without answering in the next two periods. On the flip side, Arizona is coming off back-to-back three goal losses and lost last night to Minnesota after taking a third period lead with two goals in seven seconds.

Huge spot here for Alex DeBrincat and the Detroit Red Wings - after a really great couple of weeks they have now dropped three straight and are in danger of dropping out of their current wildcard spot. Tampa Bay lost last night to Calgary so instead of jumping past them at the 72 point tie, they stay where they were - that gives Detroit a massive opportunity here.

Connor Ingram should be between the pipes for the Desert Dogs and he has struggled as of late but does have relatively strong numbers on the year. I think this game has a good chance of going over, four of the last five meetings head-to-head have gone over but at the end of the day this is a must win for Detroit and I expect a ferocious effort.
