Minnesota Wild vs. Colorado Avalanche Prediction: Can Nathan MacKinnon, Avalanche Continue to Dominate?
The second game we are diving into tonight takes us to Denver, Colorado, for a clash at Ball Arena between two of the most popular franchises in the Western Conference. The Minnesota Wild (30-27-6) are wild card chasing and fresh off a big win over Arizona last night as they travel to take on the big bad Colorado Avalanche (39-20-5) in enemy territory for a highly anticipated Central Division clash.

Minnesota Wild vs. Colorado Avalanche Prediction
Minnesota played great in the third period last night - yes they got a bit lucky with the empty netters to stretch out the score but Marc-Andre Fleury looked great in net and the boys played well. With that said, they had some really timely breaks and are not getting an easy one here on the back-to-back with overnight travel.
Nathan MacKinnon and Colorado have won four of their last five scoring 22 goals combined in those wins with a minimum of five in each game. Aside from the poor road loss to Nashville, they have been lights out and with Casey Milttelstadt now on the team, they just got even better.
Colorado is not quite on the level of Florida for me right now, but man they are close. It is hard to fade this team on home ice and with presumably Filip Gustavsson in net for the Wild, I think they can get after it tonight.
