The first game we are diving into on this lovely Tuesday slate takes us down to the Lone Star State. The Florida Panthers (44-17-4) are visiting the Dallas Stars (40-17-9) for a heavyweight clash that should be one of the best games on the board.

Florida Panthers vs. Dallas Stars Prediction
The Dallas home overs trend is still very much a prevalent and profitable one - passing it up feels weird but in this spot, but I can justify it. Sergei Bobrovsky (2.29 GAA, 31-12, .918 sv%, four shutouts) and Jake Oettinger (2.90 GAA, 25-11, .900 sv%, one shutout) are two of the best in the business, and in a potential Stanley Cup Finals preview, I expect a tighter game. I might bite on the total closer to game time if six is at a good number, since the last five straight meetings between these teams have seen at least six goals, but with Florida sporting the trend of 10-22-1 for the under on the road, I am not sure if I love it.
I feel like I am beating a dead horse here but if it isn't broke, don't fix it. The Cats are the best team in the league, and with the form they are currently in, I simply cannot justify passing them up when we are getting them at a price like this. Dallas is a good squad, but they legitimately do not hold the edge here in any facet of the game. Florida is deeper up front, stronger on the backend, and has the better netminder. Florida is winning over 70% of their games on the road, and Bob is 17-2-2 against the Stars in his career. Oettinger is just 1-4-1 against Florida. Give me the Cats.
