Anaheim Ducks vs. Winnipeg Jets Prediction: Can We Trust Laurent Brossoit, Jets at Home?

Well we have a small slate tonight but I am still looking to dive into these games and make and get frisky on a Friday night. To kick things off, we are diving into the early game up north at the Canada Tire Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The Anaheim Ducks (23-40-3) are visiting the Winnipeg Jets (41-19-5) for what should be a strong spot for the Jets.

Anaheim Ducks vs. Winnipeg Jets Prediction

I know it is square but I really do not mind it, the Winnipeg Jets are having a terrific season and are should rebound off the loss here. They have won just two of their last five and need a good win on home ice tonight against a very beatable team.

The Jets play a very controlling style of hockey when they are on their game and I don't see why they don't dominate here. The head-to-head history here is brutal, Winnipeg has won five straight over Anaheim and they have only covered the puck line once in their last four games against them.

Laurent Brossoit will be between the pipes for Winnipeg and while he is not Connor Hellybuck, he is having a terrific season himself. 11-4-2 with a 2.11 GAA and save percentage north of .920 is fantastic and I am willing to back him in any spot, especially on home ice. John Gibson should be between the pipes for Anaheim and is sporting a GAA north of three.
