We have a small NHL slate here tonight, but we get to kick off our night with a massive rivalry game with major playoff implications. The Vegas Golden Knights (38-25-7) are holding onto the last playoff spot in the Western Conference right now with 83 points. Tonight, they clash with the team hot on their heels at the Enterprise Center. The St. Louis Blues (38-30-3) are just four points back with 79 on the season, and they are storming into the wild card conversation with six wins in their last seven games - the lone loss came in a 4-3 game against the Colorado Avalanche.

We have been riding with the Notes for the last two weeks, and at this point, I am going to ride them into the playoffs or until the wheels fall off. They have showed massive guts with two huge wins over the Minnesota Wild in the last week, separating themselves from another squad trying to get into the wild card conversation. The 5-4 overtime win Saturday was monumental for keeping them in striking distance.
Jordan Binnington did not play well, but Pavel Buchnevich, Jordan Kyrou and Co. put on a clinic offensively to make up for the poor performance between the pipes. With that said, you can let him off the hook here as he is a massive part of the reason St. Louis even has a shot due to exceptional play all season long. The Blues star is sporting a .926 save percentage in the month of March.
Vegas is in position to make the playoffs, and really pulled out the stops with some acquisitions before the deadline. However, they have underperformed for much of the year thus far by their standards. They have lost four of their last five on the road, and haven't been away from home ice in nearly two weeks.
