This second game we are diving into should be one of the best on the board tonight, and other than playing to take solo possession of the top of the division, these teams are simply playing for bragging rights. The Boston Bruins (41-16-15) are heading down to the Sunshine state for a clash with the Florida Panthers (46-20-5) at the Amerant Bank Arena for a heavyweight battle at the top of the Atlantic Division.

Boston Bruins vs. Florida Panthers Prediction

The Panthers have probably been the best team in hockey since the new year began, but were on a four game losing streak before snapping that skid on Sunday with a strong win over the Flyers. Back on home ice here tonight where they dominate, I like the Cats to keep the momentum going. Sure, dominating for the better half of the season is great, but the team that a month ago was expected to walk back to the cup finals has shown some signs of weakness over the last few weeks and it is time to return to form before the playoffs.

I am a huge fan of and will stand by Veteran Sergei Bobrovsky. Despite going 0-3-1 in his last four outings, Bob still is sporting a stellar line on the season with a 32-15-3 record, 2.38 GAA, 0.916 save percentage and four shutouts. The veteran Russian netminder is due to get back into form, and after watching Anthony Stolarz dominate Sunday with the playoffs around the corner, I expect a motivated effort from him today. Boston has taken the last two meetings in the rivalry, look for the Cats to come out hungry tonight.
