NHL Parlay Picks: Targeting New York Rangers, Tampa Bay Lightning on Monday Night
We have so many good games to choose from tonight on the ice and diamond, I really might have a double-digit play card. To kick things off on the ice, I want to dive into a bit of a square one here that I am really liking.
Pittsburgh Penguins vs. New York Rangers Prediction
Pittsburgh is limping down the stretch here. They just took down Carolina, so I do not expect the Rangers to overlook their Metropolitan Division rivals who aren't (technically) out of the playoff race yet. With that said, the Rangers should take care of business tonight at Madison Square Garden. The Rangers are your NHL point leaders with 104 through 74 games this year, and have won seven of their last eight with a lot of those wins coming over really good squads. Igor Shesterkin is between the pipes for the Rangers, sporting a 12-3-1 record across his last 16 games with three shutouts. On the flip side, Tristan Jarry gets the nod for the first time in five games; he has conceded four or more goals in three straight starts.
Detroit Red Wings vs. Tampa Bay Lightning Prediction
Both of these teams are still battling for the playoffs. Tampa Bay is in a much better spot, while Detroit is still trying to find the last wild card spot. However, the Bolts are nowhere near comfortable and should keep rolling here tonight. Stamkos, Point and Kucherov have been unbelievable here down the stretch, and the Bolts are 8-2 across their last 10. Detroit has taken both meetings this year and the Bolts are well aware of that; with Andrei Vasilevskiy in net, I like Tampa on home ice here.
