Took the night off from the Ice yesterday with such a lovely MLB slate, but with only a week or so to go on the Ice till the playoffs, I am happy doing so. NHL volume will be low here down the stretch with teams already being eliminated or having clinched rising daily, motivations are constantly changing. Even some teams in must win spots have been flat, it’s just a weird time of the year, but I digress.

We always crush playoff hockey, so we will be selective until then. Tonight, I want to head down to the Lone Star State for a heavyweight Western Conference clash between the Edmonton Oilers (45-23-5) and the Dallas Stars (47-19-9) at the American Airlines Center. Both of these teams are still jockeying for playoff position, so I expect a great game here tonight.
We have been crushing these Dallas home overs all season long, and with only a week or two left in the season, I am going back to the well here one more time. Dallas is a strong 42-33 for the over on the season overall, but a stellar 25-11 for the over on home ice.
Hard to find two better teams to back here, both are among the top five scoring teams in the league and both are still playing highly motivated hockey, still with much to prove. Four of the last five head-to-head have cleared this number, so I love goals to be scored here!
