5 min2025 Miami Grand Prix Odds, Picks & Predictions: Lando Norris, Max Verstappen Favorites for F1 Miami
The F1 season will continue in Miami at the Miami International Autodrome.
It's a 3.363-mile track and surrounds Hard Rock Stadium with a 19-turn temporary circuit.
Heading into Sunday's race, Oscar Piastri (McLaren-Mercedes) leads with 99 points. Meanwhile, Lando Norris (McLaren-Mercedes) has 89 points and Max Verstappen (Red Bull Racing-Honda RBPT) has 87 points.
With Piastri and Norris both at the top, McLaren-Mercedes also leads in the Constructors' Championship Standings by a wide margin.
But there's still plenty of time for Verstappen or any other F1 racer. We're about to be on race 6 in Miami. There are 24 races on the F1 calendar, all the way up to the Abu Dhabi GP in December.

2025 Miami Grand Prix Predictions
Favorites: Max Verstappen, Lando Norris (+175)
Bookmakers can't decide who the true favorite is for Sunday's Miami Grand Prix. Lando Norris won the sprint race on Saturday afternoon, but then lost the qualifying to Verstappen, who takes pole position by about six hundreths of a second.
Here at oddschecker, we can compare the odds and see that while Norris is favored at FanDuel (+145), his best price is +175 at BetRivers. By the same token, Verstappen is favored +135 at DraftKings, but we can get a much better price with his +175 at FanDuel. It's important to take advantage of the odds, especially in these plus-money situations like racing and golf, in order to get the best payout for your wager.
With these two guys starting first and second on Sunday outside Hard Rock Stadium, it's a pretty solid bet that one of them will win. Norris won the 2024 Miami Grand Prix, so he knows how to get it done here. Meanwhile, Verstappen has won 64 F1 races, four world championships, and is well on his way to potentially being the greatest F1 driver of all time. All this to say, your funds should be safe with one of these two stars.
In the Mix: Oscar Piastri (+350)
Oscar Piastri has already won three of the first five races in this 2025 season. He's coming off a monster performance in Saudi Arabia and has all the momentum and confidence heading into this race.
He'll start at the fourth position on Sunday. With such tight street sections and few straight lines on this track, it'll be hard for others to pass him. The starting position is crucial in this race, especially in Miami.
Meanwhile, we've already seen the McLaren-Mercedes cars do work to start the year. It's been the most well-rounded car in the 2025 season, which is excellent for Piastri.
Sneaky Pick: Kimi Antonelli (+1600)
Kimi Antonelli started from pole position on Saturday in the sprint race, and will start in 3rd today. The rookie 18-year-old is using Mercedes and became the youngest driver in F1 history to secure a pole position by topping the spring qualifying session in Miami with a lap time of 1:26:482. He narrowly edged out Piastri in the sprint qualifying.
He's been able to adapt quickly and has proved he can perform under pressure.
While Antonelli hasn't won a race in 2025, he has scored points, including a sixth-place finish in the Japanese Grand Prix. In Japan, he finished as the youngest driver to lead a race and set a fastest lap in F1 history. He also became the third driver to achieve three consecutive top-six finishes from debut. Lewis Hamilton earned this feat in 2007.
Ultimately, if Antonelli continues to improve over time, he will eventually win a race. Why not this one?
