2025 NBA Draft Odds & Predictions: Sleeper Picks and Best Bets

The 2025 NBA Draft is just one week away, and we all know Cooper Flagg is going first overall. But the bigger questions lie with the other top five picks, and what order they will be selected. Jason Radowitz gives a full early NBA Draft breakdown with projections and odds ahead of the June 25th selection.

2025 NBA Draft Best Bets

We've already seen quite a few blockbuster deals since the NBA season concluded. However, the one that stands out the most is Kristaps Porzingis being traded from Boston to the Atlanta Hawks. This deal was a three-team trade that also included the Nets, who got a 5th first-round pick in this year's NBA Draft. Ultimately, you'd have to imagine the Nets are cooking something to bring home Ace Bailey using a draft pick earlier than their Pick No. 8. At this point, nobody would be shocked if the 76ers trade down with the Nets and allow Brooklyn to snag Bailey using that No. 3 pick. It might be worth taking a flyer on Bailey going third overall. In addition, there are plenty of other bets that you'll want to consider for tonight's 2025 NBA Draft. Tap in below as we discuss it all.

2025 NBA Draft Odds

With the first two picks virtually locked up between Cooper Flagg at 1 and Dylan Harper at 2, the drama begins with selection number three. Check out the odds below:

2025 NBA Draft Best Bets

Ace Bailey Pick No. 3 (+650)

The Philadelphia 76ers certainly aren't looking to draft Ace Bailey. However, the Nets have been a bit suspicious throughout this entire process. Brooklyn added another first-round draft pick in a trade with the Celtics and Hawks, and now has five first-rounders. While the Nets can draft a whole new starting five, it's unlikely they'll go that route. They can use their draft picks to trade up in the draft and land Ace Bailey. That said, Ace Bailey has acted weird during the draft process. But he's an elite player who could easily become the best prospect in this draft when it's all said and done. This is the player the Nets are likely targeting right now. If this happens, look for VJ Edgecombe to slip down in the draft. You can potentially consider Edgecombe at No. 5 overall at +1300 odds, for example.

Noa Essengue Pick No. 9 (+300)

Did anyone catch that Noa Essengue talked about modeling his game after Pascal Siakam, Scottie Barnes, and Kawhi Leonard? All three of those players were stars for the Raptors at some point in their careers. Essengue has skipped the German League Finals to attend the NBA Draft, which is a bit of a red flag. However, the 18-year-old has a lot of potential and can be even better in a couple of years. At 18, the 6-11 forward averaged nearly 11 points per game and shot 52.1% from the floor. He had seven 20-point games playing in a professional league at a super young age. On June 1, he put together a 22-point, 14-rebound game. The Raptors-Essengue marriage looks real.

Kasparas Jakucionis Under 11.5 Draft Positon (-135)

There are reports out there stating that the Celtics are looking to move into the top ten to draft Kasparas Jakucionis. For one, the Celtics can indeed find themselves in a position to draft him with a trade. Meanwhile, other organizations might reconsider their board and promote Jakucionis simply because the Celtics are interested. The Celtics have one of the best front offices in the NBA, and everything they do seems to work out. Ultimately, the Suns are attempting to rebuild their roster and accumulate more assets after trading away Kevin Durant. They've got a limited amount of first-round picks in the future and would probably enjoy trading their No. 10 pick for help in the future. My guess is the Celtics trade for the No. 10 pick and grab Jakucionis. If any team wants him bad enough, they'll have to draft him before the No. 10 pick.
