ANALYSIS

Race 1 - PICK: Caerulean

- Likely favorite Brix has had many chances to win similar races and it's worth playing the value on the unexposed Caerulean under Mario Gutierrez. The selection ran a promising race first time out at the track in February and he won't need to improve much to figure here

Race 2 - PICK: Camino De Estrella

- Camino De Estrella cost favorite backers last time at Turf Paradise with a painful nose defeat, but sets the standard here after a string of consistent efforts. The selection rarely runs a bad race and should have too much for these

Race 3 - PICK: K P Cats Wild

- A tricky race to analyze, but the value looks to be with Adel Cedillo's mount who won very impressively by 4 1/2 lengths over track and trip last time and looks to be overlooked in the market

Race 4 - PICK: Blackout

- Another competitive heat on the card and Blackout looks the play on his first start for Peter Miller. The seven-year-old was a consistent servant for previous connections and has race conditions in his favour to bounce back to winning ways

Race 5 - PICK: Minoso

- Minoso doesn't have the most inspiring of form figures, but this race represents a big drop in grade for Hector O Palma's five-year-old and he should have the class edge on these

Race 6 - PICK: Kittyhawk Lass

- You don't need to go back too far to find some really decent form in the four-year-old mare Kittyhawk Lass' backlog and if she can bounce back to that from the end of last year she'll take the beating today. Tig Tog looks a danger but needs to bounce back from a poor run last time

Race 7 - PICK: As Time Goes By

- Bob Baffert holds the key to race seven and it could be worth taking a chance on his apparent second string; As Time Goes By. The debutant is a half-sister to a Grade 1 winner and runs in the famous Michael Tabor silks, she can make a winning debut
