Thursday Racing Picks: Gulfstream Park

Race 1 - PICK: She's Just Quality

- We all know Wesley Ward can get a horse ready first time out and after impressing in workouts it's worth taking the chance on She's Just Quality on debut. She's a half-sister to a seven time winner and those with experience in this race don't set a high standard

Race 2 - PICK: Bibiana

- Bibiana is hard to get away from in this much weaker race and can get off the mark for the first time today

Race 3 - PICK: Derby Day Zip

- Patrick Reynolds' four-year-old is a solid sprinting performer at this level and will find this easier than his most recent races. A return to last season's form can see him return to the winner's enclosure

Race 4 - PICK: Mimina's Team

- Too Sexy and Cat Lady are likely to be popular for powerful connections, but neither have quite hit the level of form shown by Mimina's Team in her two starts this season and could offer the value in the market

Race 5 - PICK: Suz

- Suz makes her first start today for the Domenick Schettino barn and can put a disappointing run last time behind her to take this. This is the weakest race she has contested in a while and can bounce back

Race 6 - PICK: Hartling

- Hartling made it four wins in a row last time thrashing Just A Bit Sassy in the process and there's no telling when this improvement is going to end, she rates the pick to make it a five-timer

Race 7 - PICK: Assume

- It's one of the trickiest races on the card, but it could be worth backing Assume for the Todd Pletcher team. More was expected first time out (went off 33-10) and she's in the right hands to progress

Race 8 - PICK: Smack

- Christophe Clement finally managed to get the best out of Smack last time over track and trip and she can go back-to-back today

Race 9 - PICK: Pricing Exercise

- The selection went off favorite on his debut here last time and he can be expected to come on leaps and bounds for that effort. Limetini could be a big danger on debut, watch the market on that one
