John DaSilva has three picks for Monday's card at Lone Star:
RACE 3 – PICK: #9 QUEEN OF CARNIVAL (9/2 ML) - Click here to bet with TVG
Takes another drop in class for return to route after tiring in recent starts. She removes the blinkers for this spot. She began her career without racing with the blinkers and that is when she ran at her best. After a troubled start when she finished fourth in her third career start, the blinkers came on and she would race with them on in the next four starts. She might not race close to the pace without having them on, but seeing her resent results, that might not be such a terrible thing this time around.

RACE 5 – PICK: #2 FROZEN HANNAH (5/2 ML) - Click here to bet with TVG
Returns to dirt after coming off the pace to win allowance by a neck at this distance. In her previous start, she finished second at this distance to the morning line favorite Bold Rey in a claiming race. But now Bold Rey steps up in class while making her fourth consecutive start for a different trainer. She is seeking her fourth win in her last five starts. But with all those changes, her form must start regressing at some point. Frozen Hannah been improving with each start since being claimed by Caldwell and has the right running style to overtake Bold Rey and gain the victory.
RACE 8 – PICK: LEROY (7/2 ML) - Click here to bet with TVG
Cuts back in distance after coming off the pace to win allowance when adding blinkers. He might not have much early speed, but if as expected Restoring Hope, Tumbling Sky and possibly Impact Player battle it out on the front end with fast fractions, Leroy will have enough momentum and get up in time for the victory. Ramon Vazquez keeps the mount for Robertino Diodoro and their record together is 18 for 46 (39%) to win and 33 for 46 in the money.
