The Galaxy is +120 at home, San Jose is +175 and the draw is +285. Both Teams To Score + No Draw is priced at -120, with the match airing on FS1 and FOX Deportes and streaming on Apple TV.
San Jose enters fourth in the Western Conference at 10-6-3 with 33 points, although the Quakes are looking to rebound from Saturday's 3-1 home loss to St. Louis. Niko Tsakiris returned in that defeat after missing more than three months following groin surgery, restoring a player who still ranked among the league leaders in several chance-creation categories despite his extended absence.

LA Galaxy vs. San Jose Earthquakes Prediction
The Galaxy is 5-8-7 with 22 points and winless in five matches since returning from the World Cup break. LA most recently lost 1-0 at Houston, but the personnel is beginning to look significantly more dangerous with Hirving Lozano making his debut last week and now positioned for his expected home debut. Kyōgo Furuhashi has also entered the rotation alongside Marco Reus and Joseph Paintsil.
Those additions matter because Paintsil already hurt San Jose in the first California Clásico this season. He opened the scoring in the 13th minute at Stanford Stadium before Reid Roberts equalized for a 1-1 draw, a match in which Galaxy goalkeeper JT Marcinkowski also saved a stoppage-time penalty to preserve the point.
Recent rivalry history has produced plenty of competitive soccer. The clubs also drew 1-1 at Stanford in 2025, while the Galaxy won a 4-3 thriller and a 2-1 Leagues Cup meeting during 2024. LA owns a 24-11-6 regular-season home record against San Jose, giving the Galaxy reason to attack this matchup despite the gap in the current standings.
San Jose has the stronger season-long résumé, but the Galaxy's upgraded attack makes another shutout loss less appealing to project. Lozano, Reus and Paintsil give LA multiple creative threats, while San Jose already scored in the first meeting and should find opportunities against a Galaxy side sitting 13th in the West.

The recent 1-1 draws are the obvious concern, but this market avoids choosing which side ultimately breaks through. Both teams have enough attacking quality to score, and the Galaxy's playoff urgency should keep them chasing a winner rather than protecting another point at home. A 2-1 result in either direction fits the matchup well.
