Portland is +125 at home, Denver is +165 and the draw sits at +255 for Saturday night's matchup on ION. Rather than separating two teams that played a competitive first meeting, Both Teams To Score + Over 2.5 Goals at -130 attacks the scoring potential on both sides.
Portland's recent matches have been filled with goals. The Thorns were crushed 5-1 at Utah before answering with a 4-3 win at Boston, where Pietra Tordin scored a hat trick. They then beat Orlando 2-1 last weekend when Caiya Hanks marked her return from a 14-month ACL absence with a stoppage-time winner.

Portland Thorns vs. Denver Summit Prediction
Tordin has become the centerpiece of Portland's attack, producing one of the league's strongest combinations of goals and assists this season. Sophia Wilson remains another major scoring threat, although Portland must now navigate the rest of the year without midfielder Olivia Moultrie after her season-ending injury.
Denver has been similarly competitive offensively. The Summit beat Utah 2-1 before earning a 1-1 draw at San Diego last Friday, with Yazmeen Ryan heading home the equalizer. Ryan, Janine Sonis and veteran Lindsey Heaps give the expansion side enough attacking quality to punish teams when games become stretched.
The first meeting provides a strong blueprint for this market. Portland scored first through a Wilson penalty in Denver, but Sonis equalized before halftime and Natalie Means scored an 86th-minute winner to give the Summit a 2-1 victory. Denver finished with 18 shots and 59% possession, showing it was not simply fortunate to steal the result.
Portland has now seen both teams score in each of its last three games, with those matches producing seven, seven and three total goals. Denver has also scored in three of its last four, including twice against Utah and once at a San Diego team sitting near the top of the table.

Both teams have clear routes to a goal, and neither defense inspires enough confidence to isolate a side. Portland has the stronger home attack, while Denver already proved it can create sustained pressure against the Thorns. Another 2-1 type result fits this matchup particularly well and cashes both requirements of the combined market.
