4 Minute ReadBay FC vs. Houston Dash Prediction: Can Bay FC Grab Home Win on Sunday Night?
Bay FC is a slight -115 home favorite, with Houston +245 and the draw +255. The match airs on CBS Sports Network, and the market gives Bay another opportunity to end a five-match winless run despite Houston entering with considerably stronger recent results.
Bay has not been getting the outcomes, but its last match provided a better performance than the 3-2 loss at Utah suggests. Karlie Lema scored in the sixth minute, Heather Gilchrist added her first professional goal and Bay remained level until Mina Tanaka converted a retaken penalty in the 79th minute.

Bay FC vs. Houston Dash Prediction
Lema now leads Bay with five goals, while Claire Hutton remains the foundation of the midfield and Jenna Nighswonger returned to NWSL action against Utah. That additional depth matters for a club that has been struggling to turn possession and chances into enough goals.
Houston enters red hot offensively. The Dash rallied from two separate deficits to beat North Carolina 3-2 last Sunday, with substitute Clarissa Larisey scoring twice late, including the 93rd-minute winner. Houston then returned home Wednesday and destroyed Chicago 5-0, getting a first-half brace from Kat Rader along with goals from Linda Ullmark, Kate Faasse and Lisa Boattin.
That makes the home price on Bay uncomfortable, but the schedule creates an important reversal. Bay has been off since last Friday, giving it more than a full week to prepare. Houston played Sunday in North Carolina, Wednesday in Texas and now travels to Northern California for its third match in eight days.
The first meeting was also much closer than Houston's victory suggests. The clubs were scoreless for 90 minutes in July before Ullmark's deflected effort produced a 1-0 Dash win in stoppage time. Bay goalkeeper Jordan Silkowitz made seven saves, while Bay itself hit the post and created several dangerous second-half opportunities.
Houston is playing better soccer right now, but this is a much less favorable physical spot than either of its last two games. Bay gets home field, substantially more rest and an immediate revenge opportunity after losing the first meeting on essentially the final meaningful attack.

The -115 price only requires Bay to win, not cover a handicap, and the underlying matchup was already extremely tight in Houston. With fresh legs, Nighswonger back in the group and Houston facing a demanding travel turnaround, this is a strong opportunity for Bay to finally turn improved stretches of play into three points.
