Well, we are going back to the pitch tonight for our third play of the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup as Switzerland looks to ride the momentum of their victory in the opening game into their clash with a hungry Norwegian squad. Norway dropped their opening game of the World Cup to co-host New Zealand and now this match is incredibly important for Norway.

Switzerland vs. Norway Prediction
Switzerland was able to take care of one of the biggest underdogs in the World Cup, Panama, quite easily despite coming into the match on a seven-game losing streak. They are still the best their country has to offer and fine footballers, they just are not one of the world's top nations regularly although they are now looking to reach the knockout stages for the second time (their first being in 2015.)
Norway however is one of those top nations and they now go into this game looking to avoid an embarrassing early exit from the coveted tournament. Norway has had its ups and downs since winning the Cup back in 1995 and things have been more on the general downside since 2011 but they are still one of the world's best.
Norway has reached the knockout stages in seven of the last eight world cups and are in a dangerous place right now on the verge of elimination. They historically have struggled in the second match of the group stages having lost three and drawn two of their last five but I am going to take our chances on them to break that hex now. The Swiss come into this already victorious in game one and high on that feeling; I know success can propel a team forward but I am hoping it gives Norway a chance to catch them on their heels and get back into this tournament.
