Well we are back with another edition of the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup as the United States Women's National Team is hours away from their final clash of the Group Stages and trying to secure the number one spot out of Group E. They face Portugal in a must-win game for the European squad for them to advance onward into the knockout stages of the competition.

USA vs. Portugal Prediction
The late goal by Lindsay Horan off the set piece last game was spectacular and confidence that the United States would hold the Dutch from scoring from that point on never wavered. They dominated possession and were relentlessly earning corners and pressing the issue, they just could not finish the job with a go-ahead goal. The offensive prowess of this squad is well-known and lethal but has not found its legs yet in the tournament and needs to start finishing on its chances.
Portugal managed to get just two shots off against the Netherlands in the first game of the tournament and even with a whopping 29 shots against Vietnam, they were only able to capitalize on two of nine high-danger opportunities. They will struggle to produce offensively against this United States squad, this game is very simple for the United States. Go win, and if any other result occurs, it is their own fault.
