Jiri Lehecka vs. Rafael Jodar Prediction

Lehecka arrived after going just 7-7 across his previous 14 matches, including a Los Cabos defeat in which he won the first set 6-1 before Coleman Wong completed the comeback. Montreal has produced a much sharper version of the Czech. He defeated Vit Kopriva 6-4, 6-2 and followed with a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Alexander Blockx without dropping a set.

Jodar has been operating at a different level for months. He is 27-6 since the beginning of the clay swing, won Marrakech, reached the Roland Garros quarterfinals and then advanced to the Washington final before Taylor Fritz beat him 7-6(2), 6-4. He has immediately carried that momentum north, beating Corentin Moutet and then handling Lorenzo Musetti 6-4, 6-3 despite an extremely demanding recent workload.

This is their first career meeting. Jodar’s return quality and confidence make him dangerous against Lehecka’s serve, but the Czech can shorten rallies much more effectively than Musetti or Moutet and has not faced a break-heavy match yet in Montreal. Lehecka’s ability to produce inexpensive service games gives him a strong route to one set even if Jodar eventually proves more reliable from the baseline.

Jiri Lehecka vs. Rafael Jodar Best Bet

Jodar has played an enormous amount of tennis across Washington and Montreal, while Lehecka has spent considerably less time on court this week. The Spaniard remains difficult to oppose outright given his current level, but -145 asks him to finish another quality opponent without accounting for the possibility of accumulated fatigue. A split through the opening two sets creates the better betting path.
