Pedro Martinez vs. Daniil Glinka Prediction
That result becomes especially valuable with Martinez available at only -138 in the immediate rematch. Glinka entered that semifinal playing excellent tennis, beating Florent Bax, Elias Ymer and Harold Mayot to reach the final four. Martinez still found a way through without needing a deciding set, showing that he can handle Glinka even when the Estonian is carrying strong form.
Martinez's entire Kingston run was encouraging ahead of US Open qualifying. He beat Evan Zhu 7-5, 6-4, Garrett Johns 6-4, 6-1 and Juan Carlos Prado Angelo 6-7, 6-4, 6-3 before taking care of Glinka. His run finally ended with a 6-4, 6-2 loss to Valentin Royer in the championship match, but four victories in five matches provided a major hard-court boost entering New York.
Glinka is dangerous enough to make the rematch competitive. The left-hander has gone 9-6 on outdoor hard courts this season and reached back-to-back Challenger semifinals in August, so Martinez cannot expect another straightforward afternoon simply because he won the first meeting.
The difference is that Martinez has already solved this exact matchup under nearly identical conditions. He is the more accomplished player, reached a career-high No. 36 and owns significantly more experience at the ATP and Grand Slam levels. At a stage where qualifying pressure can expose inexperienced players, that advantage matters.
The short turnaround also makes major tactical adjustments difficult for Glinka. Martinez knows what worked only a few days ago and enters New York knowing he can consistently pressure Glinka's game. There is always some danger backing a player in an immediate rematch, but the market is not asking bettors to lay anything close to an overwhelming favorite price.

At -138, Martinez is worth backing to repeat the result. Glinka's recent form deserves respect, but Martinez just ended that momentum himself and arrives after one of his strongest stretches of hard-court tennis this summer. Another victory sends the Spaniard one step closer to the US Open main draw.
