Dimitrov and Skatov are scheduled for a 12:10 PM ET start on Stadium 17, with Dimitrov priced at -640 and Skatov at +448. The moneyline is essentially unusable, making the 20.5-game total the more interesting way to attack another matchup where Dimitrov is expected to dominate.
The first-round under could hardly have cashed more comfortably. Dimitrov demolished Lorenzo Giustino 6-0, 6-3, winning the first eight games and finishing the match after only 15 total games. He converted all five of his break points and saved both break chances he faced.

Skatov also played well Tuesday, beating Gilles Arnaud Bailly 6-4, 6-2. The Kazakh is 9-4 on hard courts this season and therefore presents a stronger challenge than Giustino did, but much of that success has come below the ATP Tour level.
There is also a particularly useful head-to-head reference. Dimitrov and Skatov met in the first round of the 2023 French Open, and Dimitrov destroyed him 6-0, 6-3, 6-2. Different surface, different point in their careers, but the matchup showed just how difficult Skatov finds it to consistently hurt Dimitrov when the Bulgarian controls the rallies.
Dimitrov needs one more dominant performance before Thursday's final qualifying round, and there is little incentive to make these matches more physical than necessary. His first-round level suggested the former World No. 3 understands exactly what is required after injuries and ranking decline forced him into qualifying.
An under 20.5 ticket essentially needs another straight-sets victory without two long sets. Scores such as 6-3, 6-4 or 6-2, 6-4 both get there, and Dimitrov has now surrendered only three games in his first qualifying match after giving Skatov only five games across three sets in their previous meeting.

Until somebody in qualifying proves capable of making Dimitrov uncomfortable, there is little reason to move away from the formula that worked Tuesday.
