Bonzi and Van de Zandschulp are scheduled for a 2:00 PM ET start on Stadium Court, with the Dutchman a -200 moneyline favorite and Bonzi available at +162. Rather than laying that heavy price outright, the straight-sets market offers a much more playable -125.
Van de Zandschulp has been the most dominant player remaining in the draw. He opened with a 6-2, 6-0 victory over Adolfo Daniel Vallejo before completely dismantling No. 2 seed Luciano Darderi 6-1, 6-0 on Wednesday. He has therefore dropped only three games across four sets.

The Darderi performance was especially impressive considering how strongly the market had moved toward Van de Zandschulp before the match. He backed that support immediately, hitting 12 aces, winning 86% of his first-serve points and never allowing Darderi to break. Van de Zandschulp won the final 11 games and needed only 68 minutes to advance.
Bonzi is hardly stumbling into the quarterfinal. After needing three sets against Quentin Halys, he produced his own demolition Wednesday by beating Rinky Hijikata 6-1, 6-1 in only 57 minutes. Bonzi won 96% of his first-serve points, so Van de Zandschulp will need another strong returning performance.
The larger tournament workload still favors Botic. He has played only four sets and 27 total games, while Bonzi has needed seven sets across three matches. Van de Zandschulp has not been broken once and has already reached the Winston-Salem final before, finishing runner-up here last season.
Van de Zandschulp also leads the career series 2-1, although they are 1-1 on hard courts and Bonzi won their most recent meeting in Pune in 2023. That history keeps this from being an automatic sweep, but the current version of Botic looks considerably sharper than the player Bonzi faced three years ago.

With the US Open beginning next week, conserving energy becomes increasingly valuable. Van de Zandschulp has been getting on and off the court almost immediately, and there is little reason to expect him to suddenly turn this into a grind. Bonzi is playing well, but Botic's current serving level and complete control of the first two rounds make another 2-0 result worth backing.
