PAPPANO was useful on the Flat and was thought good enough to be pitched into last year's Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham. That proved to be his solitary NH start for Willie Mullins and the son of Nathaniel has to be of interest significantly dropped in class on his debut for Syd Hosie. Devon Red is suggested as the biggest danger given his scope for improvement, while Depalma reverts to timber at a realistic level and must be feared on just his second appearance for Dan Skelton.
