Joseph Parker is the next opponent for the ‘Bronze Bomber’, Deontay Wilder.
Big-punching American Deontay Wilder will fight Joseph Parker on Saturday night as part of the ‘Day of Reckoning’ in Saudi Arabia, more than 12 months after his last fight in October 2022.
His last outing was a first-round stoppage of Robert Helenius, who is also the most recent opponent for Anthony Joshua going into his fight with Otto Wallin on the same card.
In his 46 professional fights to date, Wilder has only ever failed to beat Tyson Fury. The pair drew in their first bout five years ago, before Fury took the final two parts of the ‘Fury Wilder trilogy’ in Las Vegas by knockout (February 2020 and October 2021).

Deontay Wilder Fight Record
| 45 Fight | 43 Wins | 2 Losses |
|---|---|---|
| By Knockout | 42 | 2 |
| By Decision | 1 | 0 |
After 46 professional fights, Wilder’s record reads 43 wins, two losses and a single draw. Incredibly, 42 of his 43 wins have come by knockout – his unanimous points decision win over Bermane Stiverne in November 2017 was the only one of his wins that went the full distance.
Wilder’s fight with Robert Helenius was his first against anyone other than Tyson Fury since November 2019 (Luis Ortiz). The quick work he made of the Finn means he hasn’t spent more than three minutes in the ring against anyone other than Fury in over four years.
