Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson Odds: Who is favourite to win Netflix fight tonight?

The wait for the much anticipated Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson fight is almost over, but who is favourite to win?

Mike Tyson makes his long-awaited return to the ring after 19 years, stepping into the 80,000-capacity AT&T Stadium in Texas to face YouTube star-turned-boxer Jake Paul in the early hours of Saturday morning.

At 58, Tyson brings a wealth of experience to the fight, with an extraordinary record of 50 wins in 56 bouts, a testament to his dominance of the heavyweight division throughout the late ’80s and ’90s.

Paul, meanwhile, may lack Tyson’s legacy but brings youthful energy and speed. Since turning pro in 2020, the 27-year-old has faced a mix of retired and active fighters from various combat sports backgrounds.

The fight will take place on Saturday, November 16, starting at around 04:00 GMT for UK fans.

Let's take a look at who the bookmakers are favouring to come out on top.

Who is the favourite to win Paul vs Tyson?

Jake Paul is the bookmakers' clear favourite to win the bout against Mike Tyson, with odds of 4/6 with William Hill reflecting confidence in the younger fighter.

At 27 years old, Paul is in his prime and has been more active than his opponent who is 31 years older, building a 10-1 record since turning professional in 2020.

His last four fights have resulted in three knockout wins and one by decision with his most recent win coming against Mike Perry.

Paul dominated the fight, landing 96 punches to Perry’s 33. Perry was knocked down three times, with the final knockdown in the sixth round leading to a TKO victory for Paul.

In contrast, Tyson, though a legend with a 50-6 career record, is 58 and has not fought professionally since 2005 when defeated by Kevin McBride.

While Tyson’s legacy as one of the most feared heavyweights remains intact, bookmakers are favouring Paul’s youth, speed, and fitness over Tyson’s experience.

Tyson is a best price of 23/10 with AKBets.
