Mike Tyson dominated the heavyweight division in the late 1980's - what is his fight record?
Jake Paul, 27, is set to face off against 58-year-old boxing legend Mike Tyson in a sanctioned professional bout early on Saturday morning (GMT).

This marks Tyson’s first professional fight in nearly two decades, following his last appearance against Roy Jones Jr. in a 2020 exhibition.
This fight will take a different complexion to that bout however, with rules more closely aligned to those Tyson fought under during his illustrious career, which spanned 56 fights from 1985 until his 2005 retirement after a loss to Kevin McBride.
There has been a lot of debate as to whether the former undisputed heavyweight champion still has the power that once made him one of the most feared heavyweights in the world and whether he can keep up with the speed and strength of his 27-year-old opponent.
Boxing icon Ricky Hatton, among others, has warned that Paul should be wary of Tyson’s knockout power—an ability that earned him the nickname "Iron Mike" and a lot of boxing purists claim he still posseses.
Lets take a look at just how dominant Mike Tyson was and possibly still is.

Mike Tyson is undoubtedly one of the greatest heavyweight boxers the division has ever seen, boasting an incredible record of 50 wins in 56 fights and 44 knockouts.
Iron Mike was one of the heaviest hitting fighters in history - he won his first 19 professional fights by knock out and won by KO in the first round 24 times in his career.
He became the youngest heavyweight champion in history when defeating Trevor Berbick in 1986 at the age of just 20-years-old on what was come be known as 'Judgement Day'.
He took down Berbick, one of the few men that defeated Mohammad Ali, in just two rounds to claim the WBC heavyweight title.
Tyson's career went from strength to strength after that, winning another six fights including a victory over former champion Larry Holmes, before he unified the heavyweight title in 1988.
He knocked out an undefeated Larry Spinks in just 91 seconds in what was perhaps one of the most defining moments of his career.
Other notable wins in that period of dominance featured a fifth round win over Frank Bruno to defend his titles in 1989 and and TKO win over Razor Ruddock in 1991.

Tyson's aura of invincibility was finally ended after 37 fights when beaten by Buster Douglas by knockout in February 1990 in what is widely considered one of sports greatest upsets. Douglas was the 42/1 outsider in that fight.
Mike was convicted in 1992 and spend three-years in prison, which kept him out of the ring during crucial years. Although he did come back in 1995, regaining the WBA and WBC titles, he never fully regained this former domianance.
His next significant losses came against Evander Holyfield in 1996 and 1997. Holyfield defeated Tyson in their first match by TKO in the eleventh round, and their rematch ended in a disqualification after Tyson infamously bit Holyfield's ear.
Tyson’s later career saw further losses, including to Lennox Lewis in 2002, where Tyson was knocked out in the eighth round. His final two fights ended in losses to Danny Williams in 2004 and Kevin McBride in 2005.
