The men’s T20 Cricket World Cup is now underway as the world’s best compete for glory in the shortest format of the game.
Cricket fans not only have the domestic T20 season to watch at the moment, but also the T20 World Cup as England looks to retain their title after winning it last time in 2023.
However, many will still have the atrocious 50-over World Cup defence in their minds when betting on this tournament, after England finished with just three wins from nine matches to give up their world title.
This time, captain Jos Buttler will be hoping his side can perform to their usual standards after having Jofra Archer named in the squad after a lengthy injury spell.
They will be up against some stiff opposition with India and Australia looking like the two teams most likely to go on to win the tournament according to the bookies.
Let’s see which offers you can claim ahead of this year’s men’s T20 World Cup, all the latest odds, and how you can bet on England.

How to Bet on England at the T20 Cricket World Cup
England has a good chance at retaining their T20 Cricket World Cup title this year, but the bookies have India and Australia as the top two for the tournament.
Luckily, there doesn’t appear to be an outright favourite so far, so betting on any of the top five or six teams should give you a fairly good chance.
However, if you’re looking to bet on England, you can bet on any of their group games which will be played over the next couple of weeks.
England face Scotland in their Group B opener, and will also play Namibia, Oman, and Australia. They will be the overwhelming favourites in most of these games, but the big clash with Australia will be the true test of whether this side can go on to win it all.
If you’d rather bet on individual player markets, then betting on the top batsman or bowler is a great option. England has the luxury of having some of the best players in the world, and Buttler is the 2nd favourite to win top batsman at 10/1.
England also has a decent bowling attack with Archer and Adil Rashid, but their odds are much longer at around 25/1 to win top bowler.
T20 Cricket World Cup Tips
We think England won’t quite have enough to win this tournament again given their performance in the 50-over competition last year.
The West Indies are hosting this tournament, so should benefit from some home crowd advantage, but we can’t see anyone other than Australia winning this competition, with the likes of Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, and Travis Head leading the way.
You can get Australia to win the tournament and Cummins to win top bowler at 59/1 as a double with Sky Bet, which we think is great value.
