Luke Littler World Ranking If He Wins Final & Premier League Darts Lineup

Luke Littler plays Luke Humphries in tonight’s final, but what are his chances, where will he land in the world rankings and will he be picked for the Premier League?

Only Luke Humphries stands in the way of 16-year-old sensation Luke Littler, who has taken the sporting world by storm with his surge to the Ally Pally showpiece.

However, Littler - whose fairytale run to the final was secured with a 6-2 win over former world champion Rob Cross last night - is not the bookmakers' favourite going into tonight's match.

Luke Litter World Darts Championship Final Odds

As big as 150/1 pre-tournament, Luke 'The Nuke' Littler is now 5/4 on BetVictor to etch his name into sporting folklore by becoming the youngest-ever winner of the World Darts Championship.

Going into the semi-final stage at Alexandra Palace, Littler had been a best 2/1 through oddschecker having dispatched Northern Irishman Brendan Dolan 5-1 in the quarter-finals. He has dropped just six sets in six matches so far at the tournament.

Luke Litter World Ranking if he wins

Littler began the World Championship ranked 164th, but will move inside the top 10 (ninth) should he beat Humphries in tonight's final.

An unseeded player has never won the tournament; the only time an unseeded player reached the final was 16 years ago when Kirk Shepherd was beaten 7-2 by John Part in the final.

Premier League Darts 2024 Lineup

The lineup for the Premier League Darts 2024 is expected to be announced tomorrow.

The tournament begins in Cardiff in four weeks’ time (Thursday 1st February) and concludes at London’s O2 on Thursday 23rd May.

The top four players in the PDC’s Order of Merit are automatically selected, giving a place to Michael van Gerwen, Michael Smith, Humphries and Nathan Aspinall as things stand.

The other four spots, meanwhile, are decided by the PDC and Sky Sports. Littler will have to displace at least one of Cross, last year’s Premier League runner up Gerywn Price, two-time World Champion Peter Wright and 2021 Premier League winner Jonny Clayton.

The likes of 2022 UK Open winner Danny Noppert and 2022 Masters winner Joe Cullen – knocked out of the World Championship by Humphries in a sudden death leg – will also be in the mix.
