When and where is the World Darts Championship 2025/26?
This is the 33rd PDC World Darts Championship and it will take place from Thursday, 11 December 2025 to Saturday, 3 January 2026.
The action is on every day from Alexandra Palace except Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Eve.
Recently, the Professional Drats Corporation (PDC) and Alexandra Palace agreed a new deal that keeps the event at the legendary venue until at least 2031.
How much is the World Darts Championship prize money?
The prize money has been increased this year with the total going up to a huge £5m, with the winner taking home £1m!
The runner up will receive £400,000, while the semi-finalists will take home £200,000 and quarter-finalists £100,000.

What is the World Darts Championship format?
This year's format is slightly different to previous tournaments as all players will now be entered into the first-round stage, whereas seeded players in the past have been given a bye through to the next round.
Each set is first to three legs and then the deciding set must be won by at least two legs. For example, in the final set, a player mist win 4-2 or 5-3.
