Balotelli has been slashed from 25/1 to 8/1 overnight after a surge of bets on the Italian to win the French Golden Boot.
Mario Balotelli has started the season in fine form by registering four goals in two games. After joining Nice on a free transfer many deemed he would be surplus requirements but he has answered his critics by helping his side to the top of the table.
The French league consists of several world class strikers which includes Edinson Cavani and Alexandre Lacazette. Many believe if Balotelli continues his scoring streak he could be in a chance of winning the prestigious Golden Boot which was won by Zlatan Ibrahimovic last season. In the space of 24 hours we have seen a surge of bets on Balotelli to win the award. Yesterday he was 25/1 but after scoring his second brace of the season he has been cut to 8/1 to become the top goalscorer in Ligue 1.
