Europe’s premier club competition is upon us again, with all 32 teams looking for glory in Ukraine come the Champions League final in May, but realistically, how many teams have a legitimate chance of winning, and which outsiders have been receiving the most bets?
Paris St Germain have garnered the most bets to win outright by some way, with just over 17% of all bets placed on the French super spenders to win it all. Their odds have shortened since the signings of Neymar Jr. and Kylian Mbappe, and they are now second favourites behind Real Madrid (4/1) for the cup, at 6/1.

Liverpool have received the third most bets to win the Champions League outright since the market opened, and are the most popular British team backed. Surprisingly, Celtic have had the sixth most bets (5.5%) since the market opened, with bettors clearly intrigued by their incredibly high odds of up to 750/1.
Earlier, we mentioned the incredible surge of bets on Paulo Dybala to win the golden boot this week (he has over 50% of all bets in this time), and at 33/1 he looks like another dark horse that Oddschecker users are clearly backing.
