Jürgen Klopp wasn’t the only person incredibly impressed by James Milner’s masterclass against French champions PSG last night, as bookies have taken seismic precautions on him winning PFA Player of the Year.

Six different bookmakers on the Oddschecker grids have unanimously slashed Milner’s odds from 250/1 just three days ago (Sep 16), all the way into just 25/1.

The Englishman’s man of the match performance has seen a betting frenzy on the midfielder has seen a whopping 71% of all bets placed on him.

Elsewhere, Belgian maestro Eden Hazard is the bookies favourite to win the award at 9/2, followed by Liverpool’s Mo Salah at 10/1.

Spanish magician David Silva is 11/1, followed by yet another Liverpool player in Sadio Mane at 12/1. Sergio Aguero is 12/1, Harry Kane comes in at 16/1, Naby Keita is 16/1 and Christian Eriksen is 33/1.

Oddschecker spokesperson George Elek said: “The footballing world was engrossed in Liverpool vs PSG as one of the world's in-form players stole the show yet again.

“Mo Salah could only watch in awe, whilst Neymar couldn't get near the mighty James Milner, whose display epitomised the dogged by clinical Reds.
