The odds on Ipswich to be relegated from the Premier League have drifted out from 21/20 to 7/4 with Bet Victor now the best price at 9/4, after a thumping late fightback against Fulham at Portman Road.
Ipswich came from behind to beat Fulham 2-1 on 10 October 2026, with captain Dara O'Shea heading home a stoppage-time winner.
Bet Victor now offer the best price of 9/4 on this market for Ipswich.
Coventry are the favourites at a best price of 4/7 with Bet Victor, with Ipswich fourth-shortest in the betting.
The bulk of the market has settled around 2/1, with the likes of Bet365, William Hill and Unibet all quoting that number.
For long spells this looked like another afternoon of Ipswich chasing the game. Ryan Sessegnon put Fulham ahead in the 55th minute, and Portman Road was getting restless. Then the late show arrived. Substitute Abdoul Ouattara levelled in the 88th minute, and O'Shea rose to meet a stoppage-time free-kick from Jack Clarke for the winner. Gary O'Neil had shuffled his pack beforehand, bringing in Florentino, Daizen Maeda and Jaden Philogene, the latter making his first start of the season.
The reason the layers have backed off is simple: this is no one-off. The Fulham result was Ipswich's third Premier League win of the season, and every one of them has been settled by a goal in the 88th minute or later. O'Neil pointed to his side's physical conditioning and togetherness afterwards, and that is the real story here. A team still running hard when others are gasping is a team that collects points from losing positions, and the bookies have duly eased the price out to 7/4.
Premier League Relegation odds
Best odds 9/4 with Bet Victor, worst 7/4 with Coral. The bulk of the market sits at 2/1, with Bet365, William Hill and Unibet among the bookmakers on that number.

Ipswich to be relegated from the Premier League: who are the favourites?
Coventry are the favourites at a best price of 4/7 with Bet Victor, and it is hard to argue with that. The newly promoted side lost their opening four Premier League matches without scoring a goal. A 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest finally got them off the mark, but one result does not undo a start like that. Further down the table, Fulham remain winless in their opening six league games after that defeat at Portman Road, which tells you how much the result shifted the mood around Ipswich.
Coventry – 4/7 with Bet Victor. The clear favourites after a goal-shy start to life back in the top flight.
Hull – 5/6 with Betfred. Second in the betting and firmly in the mix at an odds-on price.
Man City – 7/4 with Bet Victor. Third in the market, and Ipswich's next opponents on the road.
Ipswich – 9/4 with Bet Victor. Fourth-shortest after the drift, with their late-goal habit doing the talking.

Will Ipswich avoid the drop this season?
Our view is that the drift is deserved, but nobody at Portman Road should get comfortable. Living off stoppage-time goals is thrilling, and it is also a messy way to build a season. The next fortnight is a proper test: a trip to Man City, then Nottingham Forest at home. The squad is filling out, too. Azor Matusiwa returned to the matchday squad after his rehabilitation, and winger Abdul Fatawu sat out the Fulham game through suspension, which gives O'Neil more options in the engine room and out wide. If that conditioning keeps paying off late in games, the price has room to ease further still. Take the Fulham win for what it was, though: a stubborn side finding a way, not a team that has escaped trouble yet.
