Market u-turn for bookies as the Spurs manager is back in contention.
Mauricio Pochettino is back in the frame to replace under pressure Jose Mourinho, with bookies reinstating him amongst the favourites.
Just four days ago, Pochettino was 14/1 to get the gig, that’s been cut to as short as 4/1 following a flurry of bets on the Argentinean.
The movement shows a u-turn from bookies, who at one point had Poch at 1/2 to be the next manager in charge at Old Trafford.
Elsewhere, Zinedine Zidane is 10/11 favourite to get the gig, followed by ex-Chelsea boss Antonio Conte (10/1). Brendan Rodgers is an outside shot at 20/1, alongside Roberto Martinez (20/1).
Current boss Mourinho is 8/11 to be the first Premier League manager to be shown the door, followed by closest rival Neil Warnock at 7/1.
Oddschecker spokesperson George Elek: “The bets on Mauricio Pochettino to make an Old Trafford switch could be due to Jose Mourinho's job being that bit more secure after Manchester United's dramatic win last weekend against Newcastle.
“It's unlikely that they will be able to steal the Spurs boss mid-season, so the longer Mourinho stays could increase the chances of a Pochettino move in the summer."
