We reveal the most popular bets in the top four English leagues for tomorrow's 3pm kick-offs.
LEICESTER to beat Cardiff
In light of the tragedy at the King Power last Saturday, the result of this match is relatively meaningless. However, a Leicester side mourning the wrenching loss of their owner will take on Cardiff in the Premier League tomorrow. Punters are backing the away win despite a slight resurgence from Neil Warnock’s side, now 17th in the table, who go in search of consecutive top-flight wins in the same season for the first time since 1961-62.
NORWICH to beat Sheffield Wednesday
Sheffield Wednesday are on a poor run of form at the moment, leaking six goals in their last two fixtures and at risk of losing their fourth consecutive league game against Norwich tomorrow. Meanwhile, Norwich come into this buoyed by victory over Brentford last weekend, which leaves them fourth in the Championship on goal difference. Punters like the look of a best price of 13/10 on the Canaries.
PORTSMOUTH to beat Bradford
League leaders Portsmouth are unsurprisingly being heavily backed to add to the woes of bottom side Bradford. Despite Pompey stalling a little of late, with two draws against Burton and Accrington, they face a Bradford side that have chalked up 23 defeats in the league in 2018. Odds-on across the board at a current best price of 3/4, punters can only see one outcome in this top against bottom mismatch.
COLCHESTER to beat Swindon
After an impressive 1-0 win over league leaders Lincoln City last time out, Colchester are fancied to win at home tomorrow. John McGreal’s Colchester side have only leaked six goals in their last nine home games, keeping five clean sheets in that time. Swindon are going after back-to-back league wins after a 2-1 victory at Notts County, but punters can’t see them bringing home the points tomorrow.
