Five strikers who could sign for Chelsea this January according to bookies

Here's a list of potential targets for Maurizio Sarri's side...

Everyone knows that Chelsea are after a striker this window, but who could be making the move to Stamford Bridge? Here are five players that bookies reckon have a chance…

 Callum Wilson

An England international that could be looking for that next step up, it’s easy to see why Wilson is being linked with a move to Chelsea. Some bookies have him at just 17/10 to join, with a best price of 4/1 available. He’s still the favourite out of any club to sign the 26-year-old, who has had 45% of bets placed on him to join the Blues.

Jamie Vardy

A possible left-field choice, Vardy is 6/1 favourite with Bet Victor to join the club this window. A former Premier League winner who is still scoring in the top flight, he could be a budget option for Maurizio Sarri.

Gonzalo Higuain

It’s been reported that Sarri is not interested in the Milan striker, but it’s undeniable that the marksman would be an attractive prospect for any club. He’s as short as evens to join the Blues this window, and 1/2 to stay at the San Siro. But this hasn’t stopped 65% of punters backing the switch!

Mauro Icardi

The Argentine has been vocal about wanting a new contract and a move to England could tempt the 25-year-old. Should he move, Chelsea are 4/1 favourites to capture his signature, with Barcelona 6/1 just behind.

Marko Arnautovic

Finally, the transfer that could cause the most consternation across London, West Ham’s star is as short as 7/1 to join Chelsea, with 20s available elsewhere. Arnautovic joined the Hammers 18-months ago for £20 million, and the board at the Olympic Stadium would surely want a sizeable return on their investment.
