The five most backed teams in the FA Cup today

The five most backed teams in the FA Cup today

We reveal who the punters fancy in the 3pm FA Cup games this Saturday.

FLEETWOOD to beat AFC Wimbledon (13/10)

Wimbledon have beaten Fleetwood at Highbury Stadium once already this season, on the opening day of the League One campaign. However, with the Dons now languishing at the bottom of the table and Joey Barton's Fleetwood Town sitting a lot prettier in 11th, punters fancy the home side to come out on top in the FA Cup clash today.

DERBY to beat Southampton (15/8)

It is worth noting that Southampton reached the semi-finals of this competition last season and boast an impressive away record in the FA Cup. A poor start to their Premier League campaign has seen them faced with a relegation battle though, despite a partial revival under new manager Ralph Hasenhüttl. Derby managed to reach the quarter-finals last year before losing out to Manchester United and Frank Lampard's side look in excellent shape this season. Plenty are backing the relative upset here.

ACCRINGTON to beat Ipswich (8/5)

The Championship's bottom club travel to League One Accrington Stanley. Having lost three FA Cup third-round matches on the bounce, Ipswich are looking to buck the trend that has seen them eliminated from their last four FA Cup ties against opponents from a lower division. Accrington are currently 12th in League One, and though not on their best run, are well backed to win at home this afternoon.

WALSALL to beat Bolton (16/5)

Bolton have crashed out of the FA Cup at this stage the past two seasons. Currently 22nd in the Championship, they have only managed to net 17 goals in the league this season, the lowest tally in the Championship. They face a Walsall side that are not in the best shape either, down in 15th in League One. Punters can see the momentum going with the lower league side here, where an upset could be on the cards.

SWANSEA to beat Aston Villa (3/1)

Aston Villa will be without their star striker Tammy Abraham, amid rumours of a move to Wolves. Swansea boast a strong away record against Villa, despite losing in their trip to Villa Park in the Championship earlier this season. Meanwhile, Dean Smith's side will have to break a chain of two consecutive third-round exits if they progress today. Punters are backing Swansea to defy the odds and make it five games without a win at home for Villa.
