Although he’s in the sights of Chelsea, the Hammers could make a move yet. They are 10/1 best price to sign the Bournemouth star, but one bookie has slashed their price from 10s into 15/2. He would surely be a fan favourite in East London.
West Ham have previous in signing Championship stars and while some have turned out well (Aaron Cresswell) and some less so (Jordan Hugill), it hasn’t deterred their recent transfer policy. Maupay is 12/1 currently to sign for the club, but just 6/5 to leave Brentford, where he has scored 16 times this season.
Arnautovic converted from a midfield position to a forward at West Ham, and they might try the same thing with the Blackburn attacking midfielder. He’s just 9/4 in places to make the switch, making West Ham the most likely club to sign the 25-year-old should he leave Ewood Park.
Currently part of the Hull City squad that are flying up the Championship table, Bowen is having a breakthrough year, scoring 13 goals in 27 matches this season, almost as many as the whole of the last campaign where he got 15. West Ham are reportedly one of a number of clubs interested and are 10/1 to sign him.
How about this for a long shot… The Manchester United youngster’s future is still up in the air and this move would surely send out a message to the rest of the Premier League. West Ham are the same odds as Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham to land the England star at 20/1.
