Jan Siewert 96% likely to become Huddersfield manager

The German is currently in talks to become next Terriers boss.

It’s looking extremely likely that Huddersfield will again to Germany for a manager, with reports that Jan Siewert is in talks to take over from the departing David Wagner.

He’s now just 1/25 to become the next Terriers boss, which indicates a 96% chance of probability.

76% of best in the last 24 hours have also gone on the German to make the switch from Borussia Dortmund’s second team and become the fourth German to take charge of a team in the top flight.

He follows in the footsteps of Jurgen Klopp, the aforementioned Wagner and Felix Magath, whose brief sojourn at Fulham saw him tell players to put steaks on body parts to cure injuries, amongst other things!

It’s looking grim for the Terriers at the bottom of the league and bookies rate them at just 1/20 to go down. If you’re an eternal optimist however, it’s a best price of 12/1 that they stay up.

Oddschecker spokesman George Elek: “It’s a potentially bold appointment for Huddersfield if they do appoint Siewert but they struck gold previously with a Borussia Dortmund II manager, so why not go back to the well!”
