Steven Gerrard is reportedly looking to his old club for an experienced head.
Reports have linked Adam Lallana with a move to Rangers, with the Liverpool and England midfielder now priced at even money to make the switch. Those odds have been slashed from 4/1 to 1/1 since the start of the transfer window.
The possible move to Ibrox would see Lallana link up with former teammate Steven Gerrard, with the Reds legend already attracting Jermain Defoe across the Scottish border.
Despite the manager denying interest in a loan deal for the 30-year-old, Rangers are now clear favourites to sign him. With 93% of bets in the past week going on the Gers, punters fancy this deal to go through.
Having been heavily linked to Fenerbahce, Lallana was as short as 2/1 to move to any Turkish club previously, but that possibility has drifted out to 8/1.
Lallana captained Southampton before his move to Merseyside, scoring 48 goals in 235 league appearances. A move back to his old club is priced at 12/1.
Oddschecker spokesperson George Elek: “Adam Lallana has been unlucky with injury over the past couple of seasons, but he’s found himself out of the picture at Anfield.
“Klopp has plenty of options at his disposal in midfield so some regular football in Scotland could be an attractive option.”
