Reports suggest Maurizio Sarri has agreed a deal at Juventus.
Bookmakers have slashed odds on Watford manager Javi Gracia taking the Chelsea job from 25/1 to 8/1 since yesterday morning.
The 49-year-old has impressed at Watford so far, guiding his side to the FA Cup final and a mid-table finish in the Premier League last season.
The Spaniard is now being heavily linked to a move to Stamford Bridge as reports suggest current Blues boss Maurizio Sarri has agreed a lucrative deal with Juventus.
The Italian giants parted company with Max Allegri shortly after winning a fifth consecutive Serie A title, with the 51-year-old apparently eyeing up the Premier League as his next destination.
Allegri is priced at 7/1 to take over at Chelsea, but he has been as short as 2/1. Frank Lampard remains the odds-on favourite at 8/15, while Patrick Vieira is a surprise second favourite at 4/1.
Oddschecker spokesperson George Elek: “When Marco Silva was sacked by Watford there were plenty of eyebrows raised but the job Javi Gracia has done has been outstanding.
“He has shown his pedigree by guiding the Hornets to their first FA Cup final in 25 years, but whether he has the stature in the game to lead a club of Chelsea's ilk is questionable.”
