The most backed teams in each English league this weekend

We reveal the most popular bets in the English leagues for the 3pm kick-offs.

WATFORD to beat Wolves – 15/4

Two teams currently propping up the Premier League table clash tomorrow and it’s the away side receiving a surprising amount of support from punters. It’s a shock to see Wolves starting this season so slowly, yet to record a win and sitting on four points. Meanwhile, bottom side Watford have to brush themselves off after an 8-0 mauling at the hands of Man City last weekend. Back under the stewardship of Quique Sanchez Flores, punters reckon the away side could leapfrog tomorrow’s opposition with a win at Molineux.

LEEDS to beat Charlton – 8/15

This could be a mouth-watering encounter in the Championship, between two sides who have started the season in fine form. Leeds are joint-top with Swansea going into this weekend and Marcelo Bielsa’s men are fancied to do better than their 1-1 draw with Derby last time out. Their opponents have impressed so far and find themselves just three points of the league leaders with eight games gone. However, Leeds have won their last five away matches in the Championship and they’re expected to make it six.

SUNDERLAND to beat MK Dons – 8/11

Fifth in League One, Sunderland are undefeated in their last seven home matches in the league. However, last weekend’s 1-1 draw against bottom side Bolton was far from encouraging.  MK Dons have lost their last two league games and come into this having lost 2-0 to Liverpool in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night. This looks likely to be a tough trip to the Stadium of Light and punters are backing Sunderland to prevail.

EXETER to beat Grimsby – 6/7

The top side in League Two meet ninth place Grimsby and punters aren’t expecting a shock here. Exeter are one of the few teams left undefeated in the English leagues so far this season. They were held to a 1-1 draw at Newport last weekend but are expected to overcome a Grimsby side who had seven put past them by Chelsea in the Carabao Cup this week.

You can back the four-fold at 22/1!
