AFC Bournemouth: Nat Phillips
The central defender joined the ‘Cherries’ on loan from Liverpool last season and his performances helped in Bournemouth’s promotion to the top flight.
Rumours have been circulating that Liverpool would be open to a sale if they receive a bid in the region of £15million and that could be an astute bit of business for both parties.
When coming up from the Championship, having a strong squad with experience is vital. Phillips was one of the mainstays in Liverpool’s backline when they were hit with injuries last season and Bournemouth could do a lot worse than bringing him in on a permanent basis.
Arsenal: Gabriel Jesus
A move that has been rumoured to be happening for a number of weeks now, but it makes perfect sense from the ‘Gunners’ perspective. That being said, the odds on the move have drifted from a general 1/2 out to a best price of Evens (still 1/2 in places)
Mikel Arteta’s men somewhat capitulated towards the end of the season and as a result, missed out on a top-four place. It’s been confirmed Alexandre Lacazette will be leaving Arsenal and it means they are now light up front.
Gabriel Jesus is a popular figure with both Pep Guardiola and the Manchester City fans, but they never get in the way if a player decides to leave. He’d be one of the first names on the team sheet at Arsenal and with a World Cup looming, the promise of minutes could sway the Brazilian to switch from Manchester to North London.
Aston Villa: Luis Suarez
Could boss Steven Gerrard be getting the band back together? He’s already managed to bring in Philippe Coutinho on a permanent basis and the rumours of luring the former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez to Villa Park are picking up momentum (into 6/4).
The ‘Villans’ already have the likes of Ollie Watkins and Danny Ings but even at the age of 35, Luis Suarez on a free could prove an incredible bit of business.
He could work wonders behind the scenes, passing on his knowledge to youngsters such as Cameron Archer and he is still lethal in front of goal. Aston Villa have already made some excellent acquisitions, but Luis Suarez could prove to be the difference between finishing midtable or a place in Europe.

Brentford: Emmanuel Dennis
The forward three of Ivan Toney, Yoane Wissa and Bryan Mbeumo scored nearly 50% of Brentford's total tally last season. But they were also fortunate on the injury front with those three rarely missing a game. Second season syndrome is often bandied about when sides struggle to establish themselves in their second season after promotion. Reinforcements are required and so it’s no surprise that the ‘Bee’s’ are looking to bolster their attack.
Watford endured a tough season, but striker Emmanuel Dennis was the standout, scoring 10 league goals. His pace and direct style of play would suit Brentford and would offer their attack a different dimension. An Ivan Toney and Emmanuel Dennis partnership could pose a real problem for Premier League defences next campaign.
Brighton: Stephy Mavididi
The Montpellier star had a fantastic time in Ligue 1 last campaign as he had eight goals and three assists. That’s just the kind of player that Graham Potter would like to have at his disposal for Brighton. The ‘Seagulls’ tally of 42 goals scored was the second-lowest of all the sides to finish in the top half and they also had the joint-most draws in the division.
Adding a player like Mavididi to their ranks could be the difference in future matches but they reportedly face a fight for his signature as three other Premier League clubs are said to be interested.
Chelsea: Ousmane Dembele
Prior to last season starting, many thought that Chelsea would be tussling it out with Manchester City for the Premier League title. Ultimately, however, it did not end up that way and they finished 19 points adrift of eventual winners Manchester City. Thomas Tuchel oversaw his men earn 11 draws and their inability to turn those into wins arguably cost them.
Ousmane Dembele (best price 4/9) is now strongly rumoured to be on their radar and it’s a move that makes sense. Barcelona’s financial woes are well documented and moving him on would ease some of those worries.
For Chelsea, the Frenchman would offer plenty of attacking threat and on his day can be one of the most lethal wide players in the game. He managed 13 assists last season and the likes of Timo Werner, Romelu Lukaku and Kai Havertz would surely welcome that kind of creativity.
Crystal Palace: Aaron Wan-Bissaka
It’s been rumoured that the ‘Eagles’ have been enquiring about taking their former man back to Selhurst Park as his time at Manchester United has been uninspiring. He wouldn’t be the first man to leave Palace for Manchester, only to end up returning as Wilfried Zaha did the exact same thing not too long ago and has become the main man since his return.
Erik ten Hag is set to ring the changes at Old Trafford, and it could mean the right-back is deemed surplus to requirements in the eyes of the Dutchman. With Wan-Bissaka receiving his fair share of critics, a move back to Crystal Palace looks possible at best odds of 3/1.
Everton: James Tarkowski
Everton survived the drop by the skin of their teeth. However, seeing Burnley fall through the trap door could be a turn of events that works in their favour and a potential raid on the backline looks possible. The ‘Toffees’ have been linked with a move for England international James Tarkowski and, according to reports, a deal is close to being finalised.
Tarkowski would surely be interested in a move and a potential partnership with Michael Keane could give Frank Lampard’s side some much-needed solidity at the back.
Fulham: Ryan Fredericks
The West Ham United right-back is being chased by a couple of Premier League clubs but according to reports, newly-promoted Fulham could be leading the charge to secure his signature. He hasn’t been offered a new deal at the ‘Hammers’ and he looks a certainty to move on this summer.
If Fulham can entice him, it would be a solid piece of business and would help in their efforts to consolidate themselves as a Premier League outfit.
Leeds United: Takumi Minamino
It seems that the Japanese forward has been made surplus to requirements at his current club Liverpool and rumours of a move to Leeds United have picked up the pace.
Only the three relegated sides scored fewer goals than the ‘Whites’ last season and it is clear they need more firepower. Added to that, Minamino is allegedly available for as little as £17million and, for that price, Leeds United will surely be in the mix.
Leicester City: Maxwel Cornet
The Ivory Coast forward is on the wish list of up to 10 Premier League clubs and it’s easy to see why considering he was Burnley’s top goalscorer and just been relegated with the Lancashire outfit.
Clubs can now activate an alleged relegation clause and purchase him for just £17.5million. Leicester City (second favourites at 6/1) are rumoured to be one of the clubs interested and they’re looking to improve their firepower. Cornet is a gem and Brendan Rodgers is likely to be at the front of the queue for his signature.
Liverpool: Serge Gnabry
With a deal for Darwin Nunez as good as done (1/12), we’re focusing on another potential front three recruit for Jurgen Klopp.
With Sadio Mane looking like he’s off to German champions Bayern Munich and Mo Salah still yet to sign a new deal, replacements are surely being looked at from a Liverpool perspective. One player that looks attainable is former Gunner Serge Gnabry (4/1).
If they’re already in negotiations for Mane, there must be several players that Liverpool could ask for in exchange and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see a like-for-like switch between Mane and Gnabry.
Manchester City: Marc Cucurella
This one has looked like it’ll happen for some time now. There are some reports saying it is done and others saying a fee isn’t even close to being agreed upon. One thing is for certain, if Pep Guardiola can land Marc Cucurella, he will have addressed his side's weakness at left-back.
The Spaniard is full of energy, pace and intelligence - qualities that Pep adores. Equally, Brighton’s player of the year will undoubtedly be eyeing up the next step on his career path and that step could be northwards to the Etihad.
Manchester United: Antony Matheus
It’s not exactly surprising that Manchester United have been linked with a plethora of current and former Ajax players since the appointment of ten Hag. But one rumour that looks like it has some legs is for winger Antony Matheus (2/1) to make the switch to Old Trafford.
The Brazilian had 12 goal involvements in just 23 appearances last season and given the ‘Red Devils’ have struggled for potency down their right-hand side, Antony could be the answer.
Newcastle United: Lucas Paquetá
All eyes are on the northeast as Newcastle United enter their first summer transfer window since the takeover that saw them become the wealthiest team on the planet. Eddie Howe did a remarkable job and January signing Bruno Guimaraes has been a revelation.
The ‘Magpies’ now have their eyes on another Brazilian in the shape of midfielder Lucas Paquetá. The player, who is 4/9 to make the move to Tyneside, has admitted he wants to leave Lyon this summer and it looks as though Newcastle United are ready to break their transfer record to bring him to St. James' Park.
Nottingham Forest: Joe Rodon
When achieving promotion to the top-tier, gathering reinforcements are imperative and it’s certainly something that boss Steve Cooper will be looking to do ahead of the next Premier League campaign. One name on his list is apparently Tottenham Hotspur defender Joe Rodon.
The Welsh centre back doesn’t get too many opportunities at the North London outfit and with Conte potentially bringing in another defender, Joe Rodon could be on the market. He’s a ball playing centre half and he could thrive under the tutelage of Steve Cooper.
Southampton: Gavin Bazunu
With Fraser Forster departing, Southampton are in the market for another goalkeeper and one name that raises a few eyebrows is Gavin Bazunu. The Manchester City keeper spent last season on loans at Saints’ rivals Portsmouth and their fans will tell you how special this boy is.
Bazunu would likely jump at the chance to be regularly in the matchday squads at Premier League level, but he’s not going to be ousting Ederson at the Etihad anytime soon. If rumours are to be believed, a £10 million bid may have already been sent across for Manchester City’s consideration and it could be a great move for all those involved.
Tottenham Hotspur: Alessandro Bastoni
It looks like the Antonio Conte effect could be in full swing again as Inter Milan defender is rumoured to be in talks regarding swapping Milan for North London. His agent has said he will be at the San Siro next season, but money talks and Bastoni has clearly stated in the past that he would like to play under Conte again.
Spurs don’t look as though they’re taking no for an answer and would they, as has been reported, be going back in for a player if they didn’t have assurances that he would be open to a move?
West Ham United: Jesse Lingard
The forever young Jesse Lingard was released by boyhood club Manchester United and he’s now the master of his own destiny with several clubs including Newcastle reportedly looking to secure his signature. However, it looks as though David Moyes’ West Ham outfit are at the front of the pack (best price 2/1 but 5/4 in places).
Lingard spent the season before last on loan at the ‘Hammers’ and it was clear to see how much he enjoyed his time there. A move back seems to be growing more likely by the day and it wouldn’t be beyond belief to see him rejoin West Ham United on a permanent basis.
Wolverhampton Wanderers: Sérgio Oliveira
After recently finishing a loan spell at AS Roma, Sérgio Oliveira now returns to parent club FC Porto, and it’s reported that Roma will not be triggering their option to buy clause. Jose Mourinho came out and stated how important he was to the side in the second half of the campaign and that he’d happily take him back.
Sergio Oliveira’s agent Jorge Mendes represents a host of Portuguese footballers and has had plenty of dealings with Wolverhampton Wanderers in the past. He’s allegedly promised his client a move should his Roma deal fall through and now it looks like Bruno Lage wants to bring Oliveira to the West Midlands.
