Christian Eriksen is once again the most backed transfer bet through oddschecker today but is Newcastle now the likeliest destination for the Danish playmaker?
An eye-catching flurry of bets has seen Eriksen come in from 25/1 on Monday to a best price 3/1 to sign for Newcastle in this summer's transfer window.
The increasing likelihood of this going through can be traced through the odds available on Sky Bet, with their price moving in from 20/1 to 14/1, 4/1, 3/1 and now into 2/1 in the last 24 hours.
At the time of writing, almost 25% of the transfer bets through oddschecker have gone on Eriksen to land at St James' Park in the coming weeks.
The 30-year-old was a shining light for Brentford in the second half of the 2021/22 Premier League season, as the Bees put together a run of form to distance themselves from the relegation pack.

A return to Spurs was considered the favourite option for Eriksen among the bookmakers on two separate days last week (14th & 18th June), before Manchester United assumed strong favouritism in the early part of this week.
United fans will be hoping that their club's recent hesitancy in the transfer market will not come back to bite them again in the pursuit of Eriksen, who is now best price 7/4 to move to Old Trafford - out from 4/5 at the close of play on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the chances of a sensational return to Spurs appear to be receding (6/1), while West Ham are the latest to be linked (12/1) with Eriksen, just 12 months after his miraculous recovery from cardiac arrest during Denmark's opening match at last summer's Euros.
Any French, German or Spanish club remains static in the market at 20/1.
