Arsenal Premier League Title Odds: Gunners most backed after 100% start

Having made a 100% winning start to the season, Arsenal are the most backed team in the Premier League title odds market since last weekend.

The Gunners were 40/1 pre-season to lift the title but have now been chopped into a best price of 13/1 following their third straight win in the league.

Over a third of bets (37%) have gone on Mikel Arteta’s side to lift their first Premier League title since the 'Invincibles' in 2004.

Meanwhile, Gabriel Jesus’ fine start to life at Arsenal has also seen him being backed in for the Golden Boot this season. The Brazilian is the second most backed on oddschecker in the top goalscorer market behind Man City’s Erling Haaland (32/19).

A best price of 14/1 was available pre-season for Jesus to be the league’s top scorer; that price now stands at 7/1 as support comes in for the 25-year-old.

William Saliba’s early season performances have also picked up the attention of punters through oddschecker as the Frenchman has shortened from 28/1 to 7/1 (12/1 best price) to win the PFA Young Player of the Year Award. To find out who leads the market, click HERE.

Arsenal, perhaps inevitably given their support for the title, are also the most backed in the top four finish market - taking 28% of bets since the start of the season.

They are now odds-on (8/13 best price) to qualify for the Champions League next season and have shortened from a price of 8/5 pre-season. You can track the implied probability of their top four finish since the start of August in the graph below.

Finishing 4th in the league isn’t Arsenal’s only hope of securing elite European football next year, as they can also achieve this through winning the Europa League.

Mikel Arteta’s side are 7/1 favourites (5/1 worst price) for the competition and are heavily backed on oddschecker with 58% of bets going on the North London side.
