Now the big favourite in the list of likeliest replacements for van Bronckhorst at Rangers is Michael Beale (4/7), the current manager of Queens Park Rangers and Steven Gerrard's former assistant at both Aston Villa and Rangers, where he only left in November last year.
He landed the top job at Loftus Road in June of this year and took his side top of the Championship table after eight wins from the first 15 matches. However, they have won one of the subsequent six and now sit just outside the playoff spots in 7th.

Steven Gerrard
Like his former right-hand man Beale, Gerrard (9/1) is firmly in the running to return to Rangers just a year after leaving for Aston Villa.
The Liverpool legend enjoyed a bright start to his tenure at Villa Park but was replaced by Unai Emery after winning just two of the first 11 Premier League games this season.
