Leeds boss Jesse Marsch has been slashed from 18/1 to 4/1 to be the next Premier League manager to leave his post this season.
Marsch now third favourite in the sack race
On the eve of their FA Cup fourth round replay against Cardiff, reports that the Leeds United board are seeking replacements for Jesse Marsch has seen the American manager chopped from 18/1 into as short as 4/1 with some bookmakers (best price 9/1).
Many fans will remember their famous 2-1 win over Liverpool at Anfield in October, but Leeds haven’t won a game in all competitions since returning from the World Cup break, meaning they sit just two points outside the relegation zone in 15th.
Their defeat to Aston Villa was their ninth defeat in the Premier League, and the board may be looking for a spark to take them away from the dreaded drop zone. Only Everton and West Ham (seven) have gone longer than Leeds (five) without a win in the Premier League.

Who is the favourite in the sack race market?
David Moyes’ Hammers sit in 18th, a far cry from their 6th place finish in 2020-21 and 7th place finish last season. They haven’t won a league match since 24th October when they beat Bournemouth 2-0. After a damaging defeat to Wolves at Molineux last weekend, the Scottish manager is the favourite to lose his job next at a best price 4/7.
The Hammers host Everton in their next Premier League match in what could be classed as an “El Sackico”, where Moyes goes up against another under pressure manager in Frank Lampard.

The former Chelsea manager was the man to revitalise Everton last season and avoid the drop with a game to go, but Lampard’s Toffees side are right up against it once again this season.
They have the least wins of any side in the Premier League (three) this season, and following protests from the fans aimed at both the club and board, the owners could be forced to make a change to save their season. Lampard is currently second favourite to go next at a best price of 3/1, but can be found as short as 6/4.
Potter buys some time at Chelsea
Graham Potter, who was as short as 2/1 and severely under pressure after Chelsea’s defeat to Fulham, has seemingly bought himself some time with a win over Crystal Palace.
It was a huge relief for a team who had struggled after returning from the World Cup break. Chelsea failed to beat Nottingham Forest and suffered back to back defeats against Manchester City in the Premier League and FA Cup before their disastrous trip to Craven Cottage. Potter can now be found at a best price of 16/1 to be the Next Premier League manager to go.
Behind Potter is another former Chelsea manager in Antonio Conte at Tottenham. With his contract due to expire at the end of the season, results have not been going Tottenham’s way.
A disappointing defeat against Arsenal was another dark turn for the North London side this season, and their next game is against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium. The Italian is currently a best price of 18/1 to become the next manager to leave his post.
