Manchester City will have to beat Bayern Munich in the quarter-final and Chelsea or Real Madrid in the semi-final if they are to win the Champions League.
Following the conclusion of the Champions League quarter-final and semi-final draw, we now know which teams will face off in the next round of the Champions League, and the last eight's potential road to the final.
Manchester City held firm at the top of the Champions League winner odds market after drawing Pep Guardiola's former side Bayern Munich, while Chelsea are weakening in the market having been paired with 14-time winners Real Madrid.
Napoli were the big winners of the draw having drawn AC Milan, while avoiding Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid until the final.
There is now no chance of an all English final as the winner of Manchester City vs Bayern will play the winner of Real Madrid vs Chelsea at the semi-final stage.

Who are the favourites for the Champions League?
Manchester City
Manchester City, best price 9/4 to win their first Champions League title in 2022/23, arrive at the quarter-final stage having destroyed their Round of 16 opponents RB Leipzig 8-1 on aggregate, winning 7-0 in the second leg after a draw in Germany. They reached the semi-finals in the previous two seasons, and have reached this stage in the previous five seasons.
Their main striker, Erling Haaland, is now a best price of 1/10 to win the Champions League top scorer after his five goal demolition job in that 7-0 victory. Prior to the second leg, he was a shade above Evens, and is now odds on to win his second Golden Boot in three years, after Karim Benzema won last season with his 15 goals in the competition.
He would become the first player at an English club to win the award since 2007/08, where Cristiano Ronaldo won the award while at Manchester United.

Bayern Munich
At a best price of 7/2, Bayern Munich are the second favourites for the tournament. The Bavarian giants, who have only lost two competitive games all season, have won every game of their Champions League campaign so far, including beating both Inter Milan and Barcelona home and away in the group stage.
In 2020, they became the first side to win the Champions League after winning all six group games, and having done so again before wiping out PSG in the Round of 16, they stand a good chance of winning this one.

Napoli
Napoli are in unchartered territory, flying sky high in Serie A and reaching the Champions League quarter-finals for the first time in their history. They have really stunned the competition to stake a place as third favourites, with a best price of 4/1.
They got past an Eintracht Frankfurt side who didn’t trouble the Italians much, but could face a much tougher side in the quarters and onwards. Victor Osimhen, their best chance of a UCL top goalscorer at a best price of 250/1, has been deadly in Serie A, and will have a big part to play on the global stage as he is linked with a move to the elite clubs in Europe.
Real Madrid
The holders and side with the most Champions League triumphs in total, Real Madrid, are fourth favourites at a best price of 15/2 to lift this competition for an astonishing 15th time. They moved past Liverpool 6-2 on aggregate to secure their quarter-final spot, and you would back them to do well once again.
They are specialists in this competition, which they highlighted last year during their run to the title by narrowly scraping past Chelsea, forcing Manchester City to extra-time in the dying moments of their semi-final second leg and withstanding a Liverpool barrage in Paris. They haven’t been as immaculate in La Liga this season, but always prove their quality in the Champions League.

Chelsea
Unlikely two time winners Chelsea are the other English side left in the competition, but are against the odds again to lift their third Champions League title, with a best price of 16/1. They have been unconvincing under Graham Potter, but three wins from their last three, including their 2-1 aggregate win in the Round of 16 over Borussia Dortmund, has given them confidence that they can win this prestigious competition for a third time.

What about the others?
Benfica are a best price of 25/1 to win this competition, having progressed against a poor Club Brugge side in the Round of 16. They caught the eyes of many after they finished first of their group containing Paris St Germain, avoiding the other winners of each group in the previous stage as their reward for doing so.
Behind the Portuguese side are city rivals Inter Milan and AC Milan, who haven’t reached this stage in over a decade. Both sides have won this competition before, with Inter winning it more recently, but AC winning more overall. The more fancied side of the two by the bookmakers are Inter, with a best price of 22/1, while AC Milan are generally found at a best price of 33/1
